About Women's Health To Wealth
Women’s Health to Wealth (WHW) is a member of the WSI Consortium and is established as a non-governmental organization, with the key mission of engendering healthier and wealthy women for the progress and development of Ghana. As at the year 2023, Women's Health to Wealth is present in the Ashanti, Bono and North-east regions of Ghana.
Creating wealth for women and girls through the promotion of healthy living, education, income generation and leadership development
All Girls In School
WHW facilitates the establishment of Girls Clubs in both Junior & Senior High Schools, Provides ASRH services in the selected High Schools, and scholarships for brilliant but needy girls for SHS education
Healthy Mothers & New Borns
WHW trains and supports midwives and other health personnel involved in the care of pregnant women and neonates in Clean births, Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) and Helping Babies Survive (HBS), Ensures that women aged 25 to 55 years undergo annual wellness health screening and also Provide quality, affordable and effective treatment for anomalies detected through screening among others.
Mmaa Aboso Kesee
WHW facilitates establishing the Social Capital Credits (SoCCs) program in communities. It provides business training to women engaged in small-scale businesses and farming activities to improve their earnings and help them educate their school-going-age children.
