ABOUT WHW GHANA
Women’s Health to Wealth (WHW) is a member of the WSI Consortium and is established as a non-governmental organization, with the key mission of engendering healthier and wealthy women for the progress and development of the Ashanti region. WHW focuses in particular on the promotion of and advocacy for women’s health as a pre-requisite to sustainable wealth creation for women. WHW seeks to develop strategic partnerships with women in Ghanaian communities to enable them to actively participate in processes of enhancing their health so as to build their capacities to generate wealth, both for themselves as individuals and for their families.
WHAT WE DO
Creating wealth for women and girls through the promotion of healthy living, education, income generation and leadership development
Ensure that women aged 25 to 55 years undergo annual health screening. Ensure quality, affordable and effective treatment for anomalies detected through screening
Healthy New Borns
Ensure that midwives are trained and equipped to help babies breathe and help babies survive.
All Girls in School
Establish scholarships for brilliant but needy girls for SHS education

Founded and Registered as an NGO on August 21, 2014
Though quite a young organization, WHW has already partnered successfully with Self Help International, Ghana Health Service and Ghana Education Service, local assemblymen and women of 16 local communities and to conduct health screenings for women, establish girls clubs and provide access to small loans for women in small businesses and agriculture.
